PENGARUH PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI PENDIDIKAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PAI SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMPN 2 KARAWANG BARAT

This research aims to determine the effect of the use of educational technology on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for class VIII students at SMPN 2 West Karawang. The background of this research is based on increasingly rapid technological developments and the need for innovation in learning methods, especially in PAI subjects which are often considered monotonous and theoretical. The approach used in this research is quantitative with quasi experimental research methods (quasi experiment). Data is collected through learning results tests and observations of learning activities that involve the use of technological media such as learning videos, interactive applications and other digital media. The research results show that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who take technology-based learning and students who take conventional learning. Students who are involved in technology-based learning show increased understanding of the material, higher learning motivation, and active involvement in the learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of educational technology has a positive effect on improving student PAI learning outcomes.
