PERAN STRATEGIS GURU DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER ISLAMI MELALUI SENI DAN MEDIA DIGITAL DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH

The rapid development of digital technology has changed the role of teachers from conveyors of material to facilitators, content designers, and essential moral role models in Islamic character education. This literature study aims to review teachers' strategies in facing the challenges of digital culture that are prone to eroding morals (hate speech, consumptive lifestyles) by utilizing art and digital media. The results of the study show that the strategic role of teachers focuses on two main things. First, instilling Islamic values (discipline, responsibility, manners) through direct experiences at school and instilling media ethics in digital interactions. Second, utilizing the potential of art and digital project-based learning (Digital PjBL) to internalize values in a reflective, contextual, and multisensory manner. The implications of these findings demand strategic investment in digital and arts competency training for teachers, as well as the design of an adaptive ICT-based curriculum that consistently integrates technology with the essence of Islamic values. Thus, teachers play a crucial role in shaping a generation that is technologically proficient and strong in akhlakul karimah (good character).
