MODEL PENDIDIKAN GLOBAL DAN IMPLIKASI TERHADAP INOVASI PEMBELAJARAN DI INDONESIA

Globalization has caused significant changes in the global education system, requiring Indonesia to align its education system with 21st-century competencies through curriculum development, technology utilization, and teacher quality improvement. Developed countries such as Finland, Japan, and Singapore offer educational models that emphasize holistic learning, character development, academic achievement, and the use of technology in the classroom, which are crucial for Indonesian educational innovation. This study aims to analyze the global education paradigm and examine its implications for Indonesian education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive methodology with desk research conducted through journal articles, books, international publications, and academic documents related to the global education system. The research findings indicate that the global education model can contribute significantly to the advancement of educational innovation, particularly in digital literacy, teacher competency, project-based learning, and the integration of global perspectives into the national curriculum. This study demonstrates that the application of global education principles can drive the transformation of Indonesian education towards more adaptive, relevant, and global learning, while improving local contexts, facilities, and national norms.
