MANFAAT TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN SISWA TERHADAP AL-QURAN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits of information technology to improve students' understanding of the Quran. In the era of increasing digitalization, information technology provides various tools and resources that can be used in the learning process, including the study of the holy book of the Quran. This study examines various digital platforms, applications, and technology-based learning media used in Islamic educational environments to help students gain a deeper understanding of the content and meaning of the Quran. Research shows that the use of information technology for: Digital interpretation applications, online learning platforms, interactive videos, and others can increase the appeal, accessibility, and understanding of the Quran for students. This technology allows students to access richer and more relevant sources of knowledge and interact more effectively with learning materials. However, the use of this technology also requires organizational support, teacher training, and selection of content that is in accordance with Islamic educational values. Overall, information technology if used wisely and directed has great potential in improving the quality of students' understanding of the Quran.
