EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI DAN KONVENSIONAL TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN SERTA PEMAHAMAN SISWA DI SMPI AZ-ZAHIRIYYAH CIKARANG

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of technology-based learning compared to conventional methods on student engagement and understanding at SMPI Az-Zahiriyyah Cikarang. The background of this research is based on the rapid development of information technology that encourages changes in the approach to the learning process. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation and pre-test and post-test tests on two groups of students, namely the control class (conventional method) and the experimental class (technology-based). The results revealed that students in the experimental class showed a more significant increase in understanding compared to students in the control class, characterized by a higher difference in pre-test and post-test scores. In addition, the technology-based approach also encourages students' active participation through interesting and varied interactive media. In conclusion, technology-based learning is more effective in improving students' activeness and understanding, although integration with conventional methods is still needed to obtain maximum learning results.
