Abstract

This study aims to examine the synergy between parental roles and the Prophetic Hadith method in internalizing prayer habits among early childhood. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach utilizing textual analysis (takhrij) and library research. The results indicate that childhood development is divided into three prophetic phases: prep-initiation (0-7 years) for readiness, formal habituation (7-10 years) involving around 5,475 prayer times without physical sanctions, and strict discipline (10 years and above) for accountability. To implement this framework at home, parents must integrate five Islamic parenting methods: exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), consistent habituation, gentle advice, active monitoring with positive reinforcement, and educational consequences. The study concludes that strict enforcement at age 10 will only succeed if a foundation of loving example and habituation during the golden age (0-7 years) is completely established. Practically, parents are advised to avoid rigid verbal instructions and focus on visual modeling during early childhood to prevent psychological resistance or trauma in the later stages.
