ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI ISLAM DALAM LIRIK NASYID “TOMBO ATI” KARYA OPICK

The song “Tombo Ati” by Opick represents a preservation of Islamic art that conveys messages of spiritual education and da’wah. This study aims to examine the Islamic principles embedded in the song’s lyrics as a medium for moral development and social guidance. The research employs a qualitative approach and library research method, analyzing secondary sources such as books, journals, and scholarly publications. To interpret both the religious and symbolic meanings within the lyrics, content analysis and a hermeneutic approach are applied. The findings reveal that “Tombo Ati” reflects five core Sufi-inspired values: faith, knowledge, social awareness, spirituality, and self-control. The five disciplines described in the song, reciting the Qur’an, performing night prayers, associating with pious people, fasting, and engaging in dhikr, illustrate the process of spiritual purification and closeness to Allah SWT. Overall, the song serves not only as a form of religious entertainment but also as an effective medium of da’wah that teaches simplicity, honesty, and divine love. The study concludes that nasyid is an effective strategy to cultivate Islamic principles while strengthening Indonesia’s religious and cultural identity.
