Abstract

The fast advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has prompted significant discussions regarding its compatibility with Islamic ethical values. This study explores how AI can be integrated into contemporary life through the lens of Islamic ethics, focusing on fundamental principles such as justice, trust, and collective welfare. By applying a qualitative descriptive mothod grounded in literature analysis, the research highlights the alignment between key AI concepts such as openness, data protection, and human benefit and essential Islamic teachings. The results indicate that AI, whendirected by Islamic moral frameworks, has the potential to function as a means of advancing human responsibility as khalifah on earth rather than posing a danger. Furthermore, ethical concerns like algorithmic discrimination, excessive surveillance, and overrenliance on technology are addressed within the scope of Islamic guidance for accountable AI governance.
