PENCEGAHAN FATHERLESS PERSPEKTIF QS. LUQMAN AYAT 13–19 DALAM PEMBENTUKAN MORAL ANAK USIA DINI

Moral development in early childhood is strongly influenced by the role of parents, particularly fathers, as primary educators within the family. The phenomenon of reduced paternal involvement, commonly referred to as fatherlessness, poses a challenge to children’s character formation. This study aims to analyze the role of fathers in children’s moral development from the perspective of Qur’anic Surah Luqman verses 13–19. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through library research by examining the Qur’an, classical and contemporary tafsir, and relevant scholarly literature on moral education and child development. The findings indicate that Surah Luqman verses 13–19 portray an ideal father figure who actively instills monotheistic values, moral virtues, awareness of divine supervision, moral responsibility, discipline in worship, social concern, and politeness in behavior and communication. Luqman’s dialogical, affectionate, and wisdom-based communication demonstrates the effectiveness of paternal involvement as a moral guide and role model. The study concludes that consistent father involvement grounded in Qur’anic values plays a strategic role in fostering holistic moral development in children and serves as a normative framework to address the issue of fatherlessness.
