Abstract

This article discusses the integration of Islamic spiritual values in the formation of holistic human character. The study is motivated by the moral crisis in the modern era, which highlights the need for an educational approach that emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also spiritual dimensions. The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively examine the stages of Islamic spirituality, including ihsan, muhasabah, tazkiyatun nafs, mujahadah, riyadhah, mahabbah, and ma’rifah, as well as their relevance to everyday life. The study employs a literature review method by analyzing various sources related to Islamic spirituality and character education. The findings indicate that each stage of spirituality is interconnected and contributes to a continuous process of self-development. The study concludes that the systematic integration of Islamic spiritual values can serve as an effective solution for fostering individuals with noble character, integrity, and the ability to adapt to contemporary challenges.
