KONTEKSTUALISASI KONSEP TABAYYUN DALAM LITERASI DIGITAL: UPAYA MEMBENDUNG HOAX DI LINGKUNGAN

the spread of hoaxes in the digital era has become a serious challenge for education, particularly in shaping students’ critical attitudss toward information.this study aims to contextualize the concept of Tabayyun,a verification principle in Islamic tradition,within a digital literacy framework to stem the spread of hoaxes in school.the research method used was descriptive qualitative with a literature study and content analisis approach.the results show that the concept of Tabayyun has a very strong relevance to the elements of digital literacy, particularly in the aspects of critical thinking and communication ethics.the implementation of Tabayyun in digital literacy in schools can be done through the integration of the Islamic religious education (PAI) curriculum,which emphasizes the validation of data sources (sanad information ) and the impact of news dissemination(madharat).this study concludes that internalizing the value of Tabayyun not only improve students’ cognitive intelligence in selecting information but also streghthens spiritual and moral intelligence in cyberspace.through this approach,schools can transform into healthy information ecosystems free from disinformation
