This study examines students' understanding of bullying in Islamic boarding schools through the lens of Social Learning Theory. Using a qualitative case study design, the study was conducted at the HM Al-Mahrusiyah 1 Lirboyo Kediri Islamic Boarding School for Girls. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with administrators, female teachers, perpetrators, victims, and students, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students' understanding of bullying was shaped by personal experiences, observations of senior behavior, peer interactions, and reinforcement within the Islamic boarding school environment. Some students understood bullying as encompassing physical, verbal, and social violence, while others still viewed certain behaviors as jokes or seniority traditions. The findings confirm that observational learning, modeling, enactive learning, and reinforcement play roles in shaping students' understanding and behavior. This study concludes that bullying prevention in Islamic boarding schools should be strengthened through role models, continuous coaching, a consistent monitoring system, and the development of an Islamic boarding school culture that values empathy, respect, and responsibility as part of Islamic character education.
