Calorie intake is one of the important factors influencing nutritional status and body weight, particularly among late adolescents transitioning into adulthood. Changes in dietary habits, academic activities, and lifestyle frequently create an imbalance between energy intake and energy expenditure, resulting in body weight changes. This study aimed to analyze the effect of calorie intake on students' body weight using simple linear regression analysis. The study involved ten students of STEBIS Muhammadiyah Sumedang selected purposively and coded as M1–M10. Daily calorie intake was obtained through food consumption records, while body weight was measured using a digital scale. The collected data were analyzed using simple linear regression to determine the direction, magnitude, and significance of the relationship between calorie intake and body weight. The findings indicated a positive relationship between calorie intake and students' body weight. The regression equation demonstrated that an increase in calorie intake was followed by an increase in body weight. The significance test confirmed that the regression model was appropriate for predicting the relationship between the variables. These findings emphasize the importance of maintaining balanced energy intake among university students to support healthy nutritional status
