Pendekatan Tafsīr Fiqhīy Terhadap Istinbāth Hukum Qashar Shalat: Analisis Tafsir Quran Surat An-Nisa [4]: 101

This paper aims to present a model of approach to various interpretations of fiqh literature, focusing on the main theme of the qashar prayer as found in Surah An-Nisa: 101. The research method employed in this paper is qualitative, conducted through library research. The study provides an overview of fiqh interpretation using the common approach to exegesis, which includes the interpretation of vocabulary, the circumstances of revelation (asbab al-nuzul), and the context of verses (munasabat), similar to other tafsir works. What stands out is that fiqh interpretation intertwines its exegetical analysis with the scope and tools of fiqh, resulting in a blend of the two disciplines in the presentation of its content. One of the implications is that this fiqh-oriented exegesis offers perspectives that differ from traditional fiqh viewpoints, due to its initial foundation in the study of tafsir, followed by the extraction of legal rulings in fiqh.
