Infiltrasi Budaya Masyarakat Arab dalam Teks-teks Hadis Nabi Saw

Abstract

Every word uttered by the Prophet SAW cannot be separated from the context of his life. The reality of life can be in the form of socio-cultural, cultural, economic, even political. Therefore, not every text of the hadith recited by the prophet is understood in its entirety as the form of the text, but must be understood and considered according to the socio-cultural context of Arab society at that time. This article will discuss the influence of local Arab culture on hadith texts. By using a contextual approach, it can be concluded that not every hadith text applies to every era and is universal, but there are also hadiths that apply only temporarily and tentatively. Because what was uttered by the Prophet SAW was based on the socio-culture of Arab society at that time. So that hadiths such as that must be understood with a socio-cultural and cultural approach, not with a textual understanding even though the sentence implies a command or prohibition.
