PERAN ETIKA DAN KEAMANAN DALAM MEMBANGUN KREATIVITAS DIGITAL MAHASISWA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital ethics and digital security in fostering students' creativity in digital era. The development of information technology provides opportunities for students to access information and express creative ideas through digital media. However, it also presents risks such as ethical violations, misuse of information, and threats to data and digital works. This research employed a qualitative approach through literature study by reviewing journals, books, and related documents. The findings show that digital ethics plays an important role in shaping responsible, honest, and respectful behavior toward intellectual property in digital environments. Meanwhile, digital security contributes to protecting personal data and students' creative works from threats such as hacking and plagiarism. In addition, digital literacy strengthens the integration of ethics and security, enabling students to use technology effectively, safely, and productively. This study concludes that the implementation of digital ethics and security can support the development of innovative, responsible, and sustainable student creativity in the digital era.
